In Helsinki, inside the Uspenski Cathedral, the largest orthodox church in Western Europe.

One of the best things about Helsinki was the beer tram that makes a 50 minute loop around the downtown. In the back is a bar where you can pick up a beer or two to enjoy back at your seat while taking in the sights.
In St. Petersburg, the very impressive Church of Our Savior on the Spilled Blood was built on the spot where Alexander II was assassinated in 1881.
We had lunch at a 5-star hotel that included caviar, Russian sparkling wine and vodka. The entertainment was traditional Russian singers.
Looking up at the dome inside St. Issac`s Cathedral, you can see a white dove at the very top.
The Winter Palace, one of the buildings of the Hermitage, from across the River Neva in St. Petersburg. The Hermitage was an excellent art and cultural museum.
