The cathedral in Christchurch. We saw some damage from the earthquake around the city but not as much as I was expecting.
Wallabies, all interested in something to the left!
A view of the Southern Alps on our way to some thermal pools....
...and the view from our motel room we awoke to the next morning. Fortunately, the snow didn't last too long.
A sandy beach cove on the Pacific with the Southern Alps in the background.
Seals, sunning themselves on the rocks by the ocean.
Checking out fur seals in their natural habitat.

In the mountains on our way to Hawke's Bay - looks like there was a landslide over the tracks and the train ran right into it.
This is Maori country so we went to one of their cultural shows that included dinner. It was very good.
Of course I couldn't go to New Zealand without bungy jumping. Here I am taking the plunge!
And 'touching' the water!
So as not to be undone, Debbie went skydiving the next morning. Here she is just after leaving the plane!!
On the way down!!
