Our house swap in Paris (red door). The bistro on the ground floor (red awning) was, unfortunately, closed for summer vacation.
A famous local attraction! This is as close as we got on this trip.
Looking from the Jardin des Tuileries toward the Obelisk in the Place de la Concorde and, even further, the Arc de Triomphe.
A closer look at the Arc de Triomphe.
It was just 30 minutes from our place to Disneyland Paris by train so we spent a day there. Just like in California but en français!
Debbie attended a Cordon Bleu cooking class.
Debbie at one of the several outdoor markets we visited.
The Paris city hall. We had never stumbled across this building on any of our other trips to Paris. Very impressive!
They truck in the sand every summer to make a beach along the Seine. Note the little Eiffel Tower that is made out of chairs.
Le Tour de France was finishing while we were in Paris so we went down to watch.
It was very inexpensive to rent bikes for the day, so we did, twice.
Back to the beach on the Seine again for a quick game of boules.
