The same square at night. Skopje is called the Vegas of the Balkans.
We took an all-day tour to Kosovo. This is the small city of Prizren.
Looks like Austria but we are actually on our way back from Prizren.
Back in Macedonia, this is St John Kaneo church, the symbol of the town of Ohrid, where we spent the night.
Enjoying a cruise on Lake Ohrid. Debbie went swimming!
We climbed a number of 'mountains' to get to fortresses. This is a church in the fortress in the town of Berat.
An interesting mix of architecture in the city of Tirana.
Another church in a fortress. This one in the town of Skodra.
Climbing down from another fortress, a church overlooking the town of Kotor. it was sort of a mini Dubrovnik.
And this is Dubrovnik. We had been here before so didn't do a lot of sightseeing.
An oysters and white wine tasting on a fishing boat near the town of Ston.
The defensive wall in Ston is the second longest in the world, after the Great Wall of China.
Krka National Park had some nice waterfalls and even some swimming, which Debbie did.
Plitvice Lakes National Park was much larger than Krka. We explored for over five hours and were rewarded with some great views.
The best-preserved Roman amphitheatre outside of Italy in the town of Pula.
The old town in the capital, Ljubljana.
