We hadn't been to The Algarve before so our first stop in Portugal was there. This is the view from the balcony of our timeshare in Albufeira.

After The Algarve, we headed to Lisbon. This is Rossio Square near where we were staying.
The iconic old trams are all over the Lisbon downtown area.
The Castelo de S. Jorge, built by the Moors, is on a hill in the middle of Lisbon.
Our final stop in Portugal was Porto. This is the busy waterfront area by the Douro River.
There are colourful tiles on buildings all over Portugal but it seems even more so in Porto. This is inside the main train station.
When in Porto, one should always do a port tasting.
After Portugal, we flew to Paris and then took a train to the town of Lille. Here's the Grand Place (Main Square) in the town.
We visited a number of WWI war memorials in the area. This is the Canadian War Memorial at Vimy Ridge.
We spent 2 nights in this house boat. Debbie checked it off her bucket list.
