Nice street art in the Wynwood area of Miami where we stayed before the cruise.....
...and another.
A stop for some craft beer.
Virgin Yoyages Scarlet Lady, our home for the next 14 nights as we head from Miami to Barcelona.
During the cruise there were shows most afternoons and evenings. This is in The Red Room, which was a small theatre.
And this is in The Manor, which was like a night club
Another singer in The Manor.
An entertaining show in The Red Room.
More of the same show.
Entertainment in the bars...
...and on deck....
...and back in another bar.
And the food was great! 20+ eateries (including 6 specialty restaurants). All free! The appetisers...
...the mains...
...another main...
...and, of course, dessert.
Funchal, the capital of the Portugese island of Madiera, our first time on land after 8 days at sea.
Of course when in Madeira you should sample some Madeira wine.
Our 2nd stop was Malaga, Spain. Down by the harbour.....
..... and in the Old Town.
Sunset on our next sea day.
Our final port of call was Valencia, Spain.
The fort in Valencia.
First stop after the cruise was Batumi, Georgia. It had a long boardwalk on the Black Sea. This is near one end.....
....and this is near the other end at night.
Then it was off to the capital, Tbilisi, where we had been before.
We attended a open air wine festival in Tbilisi. 100+ tables, all serving Georgian wines, all free!
Our final stop was Baku, Azerbaijan. It had a 3km 'boardwalk' on the Caspian Sea, an old town, and some nice pedestrian streets.
One of the pedestrian streets in Baku.
The Flame Towers in Baku that lights up at night, as seen from the boardwalk.
